Eat Local Wednesday 6.26


 Today's CSA portion...
...Blueberries, cabbage, onions, carrots, turnips, green beans & kale
 
We had Banh Mi for dinner tonight and it was awesome, but Eric made it and I can't begin to tell you how to go about it.  Here's the recipe he used.  We originally tried Banh Mi last Thursday from the Hanu Food Truck.  It was so good that the next morning Eric called me from work saying he had figured out how to make it and would be making it this week for dinner.  We had some friends over for dinner and it was definitely well liked.  We ate this meal with a side of kale from today's portion.  I'll be back tomorrow to share how we prepared the kale.
