Easy Cheesy Squash & Zucchini

We headed to a friend's house for dinner yesterday and I wanted to bring a side dish.  I saw something like this recipe on Pinterest and it seemed easy enough, plus we had basil from our CSA portion to use.

Ingredients
2 zucchini
2 yellow squash
3 green onions
2 heaping tablespoons of basil
1 C Italian blend (mozzarella, parmesan, romano, provolone) cheese, divided
1/2 C grated parmesan cheese
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Cut squash and zucchini into slices.  I then cut some of the larger slices in 1/2 so all the pieces were close to the same size and place in large bowl.
Slice up green onion and add to squash and zucchini mix.
Chop basil and add to bowl.
Add 1/2 C italian blend cheese and 1/2 C parmesan cheese to mixture.
Stir all ingredients well.
Spray 8x8 dish with cooking spray and spread mixture in dish.  I used a Corning Ware dish which was slightly smaller than 8x8 but was deeper.
Bake for 25-30 min.
Remove from oven and sprinkle with remaining cheese.
Cook for additional 10-15 minutes.
And just a sidenote, our squash plant looks like this right now.  So there will probably be many squash recipes to come this summer.
