Barbecue, Beer & Baby Talk

Yesterday we had a fun shower for our friends Brandon & Alexis.  I have known Brandon & Alexis since high school and Eric has known them even longer than that and they are expecting a little girl in May.  We decided on a BBQ, Beer & Baby Talk theme since we were having a couples shower. We had so much fun celebrating them and their baby girl to be!

The decorations were simple.  Just some homemade paper bunting and lanterns hung over the food.

We decided to keep it pretty basic food wise.  We served pulled pork BBQ, coleslaw, pasta salad, baked beans, chips & dip.  Eric smoked 4 pork shoulders on Saturday and they were so good.

And for favors I just tied up some cigars and mini bottles of wine with  bakers twine and a little thank you tag.
