5 on Friday!

    {One}   Sunday we celebrated my friends C&T's baby girl that should be here within a few weeks.  We just had a small sprinkle at a restaurant with lunch and gifts.  I plan to post back with pictures of my homemade gifts after my friend Megan's shower next weekend.  This is my friend Kitty & I at the sprinkle.  It's a pic of a pic of the back of a camera so quality isn't great.

Yesterday afternoon my mom and I went to lunch and to get pedicures since I am headed to the beach on Sunday and she is going to Florida for the week with her college friends.

  {Three} I am two days in to eleven straight days off of work (6 of which will be spent at the beach).  Enough said!    

{Four}   I saw this quote this week and it really struck a chord with me.  It's easy to think about what why other people have opportunities or things that you don't have and forget how blessed and lucky you really are.

Meet Abu.  He is our sponsored child through Compassion International and lives in Bangladesh.  If you are interested in sponsoring a child through a great organization check out Compassion International here.  I sent  $20 extra back in the beginning of the summer as a birthday gift and I got a letter from him this week thanking me and telling me all the things he was able to get with it.  He said he got a dress, pants, a wristwatch, a bucket and a few other items - all that for less than a tank of gas here!
